Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. in Geneva, IL is hiring a Part-Time Clinical Counselor to provide family therapy for parents of children 3+ and individual therapy for children 5+.

Work is in the Geneva clinic with evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, offering a supportive, collaborative environment and evidence-based practices. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university.
• LCPC or LCSW licensure in Illinois.
• Prior experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ with verbal communication skills, and provide individual therapy for children ages 5+, pending clinical evaluation.
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and both short- and long-term interventions with development of individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families while collaborating with internal team members to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level prepared team member.

Education

Master’s degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university

LCPC or LCSW licensure in Illinois
