Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a packaging operator to run the cheese packaging line, box finished product, and ensure safety and quality standards. Training on GMP, HACCP and SQF will be provided, with emphasis on safety and 5S in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, reading and following packaging specifications, and collaborating with the Packaging Lead and Scale Operator to maintain an efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Must learn machine programs for settings.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Stand throughout the entire shift and keep pace with the line.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ULMA packaging line equipment.
• Operate the Quadrille packaging system.
• Operate the Snorkel Vac and Cryovac units.
• Box finished and packaged cheese product.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with GMP, HACCP and SQF policies.
• Attend required safety, GMP, HACCP and SQF trainings.
