Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Packaging Tech for the PM shift to properly package and box finished cheese products, while ensuring safety and quality standards. You will operate the ULMA, Quadrille, Snorkel Vac, and Cryovac systems, and maintain a clean, safe packaging area.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to keep up with a fast line, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and SQF training as part of 5S and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand throughout the entire shift.
• Able to keep pace with a fast packaging line.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Participate in leader standard work.
• Participate in safety and 5S programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ULMA packaging line.
• Operate the Quadrille system.
• Operate the Snorkel Vac and Cryovac equipment.
• Package finished cheese product.
• Box finished and packaged cheese product.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA GMPs and quality, sanitation policies.
