Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Medication Aide to administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and policy. The role supports the nursing department and may include personal care, housekeeping, and social activities to promote residents’ well-being.

The position requires current certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, and scheduling flexibility for evenings with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environments preferred.
• Current certification as Medication Aide/Assistant/Qualified Medication Administration Person per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained per state regulations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy.
• Provide care during shifts, including personal care, housekeeping, and meal services as assigned.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, medical professionals, residents and families to support residents’ wellbeing.
• Attend in-service trainings and complete continuing education hours as required for certification.
