Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Medication Aide to administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and our policy. You will support nursing, activities of daily living, and resident well-being in a long-term care setting.

We seek candidates with LTC or assisted living experience, current Medication Aide certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.
• Current certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent per state regulations.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Attends in-service training and maintains education hours if required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic computer knowledge and software literacy.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities as assigned.
• Collaborate with the nursing department and other staff to support resident well-being.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisors and document care accurately.
