Job summary

Westside Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care team. You will provide daily medication administration, monitor residents, and document changes in condition while upholding standards of practice and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold state CNA certification, be listed on the state registry, and maintain current BLS/CPR certification. This full-time role includes benefits and opportunities to grow with our caring team.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) credential required.
• State-approved Nurse Aide Training completed and listed on state registry.
• Current BLS/CPR certification for SNFs/ALFs.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per state regulations and MAR.
• Delivers routine daily medications as ordered by physician.
• Verifies resident identity and documents drug administration details.
• Provides personal care services and assists with meals and hydration.
• Records observations and communicates changes to nursing staff.
• Restocks medications and prepares equipment for treatments.
• Responds to call lights and ensures resident comfort and safety.
