Qualifications

• State certification as a nurse aide is required.
• State approved medication administration certification.
• Familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication as ordered by a physician under supervision.
• Records the administration of medications appropriately.
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications.
