Job summary

Orca Bio in Sacramento, CA is hiring for an Associate, Cell Therapy Production to join a 2nd shift, on-site team. You will operate advanced manufacturing equipment, execute SOPs, and document activities in a highly regulated GMP environment.

Reporting to the Clinical Manufacturing supervisor, you will collaborate with Materials Management, QC, and QA to run batch records, maintain cleanroom standards, and support continuous improvement programs while meeting strict quality standards and

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in biology or related field required.
• 1–2 years of experience in process sciences or manufacturing.
• Experience with aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate and closely monitor advanced manufacturing equipment to support production of cell therapy products.
• Follow SOPs and batch records to perform production activities.
• Identify and resolve equipment or process issues, escalating to management as necessary.
• Complete all training to maintain required technical proficiency and adhere to cGMP standards.
• Operate, monitor, clean, and prepare automated equipment in Grade B/C cleanrooms with PPE and GMP gowning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including manufacturing efficiency and change-control processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for weekend/holiday shifts.
