Job summary
Bon Appétit Management Company, a part of Compass Group USA, is hiring cashiers for Westmont College in Santa Barbara. The role involves handling sales transactions, balancing cash drawers, and providing friendly customer service in a fast-paced cafe setting.

Qualifications
- Previous cashier experience is required.
- Ability to perform cashiering duties and basic food service tasks.
Responsibilities
- Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
- Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are recorded.
- Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
- Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly manner.
- Maintains cash drawer controls and adheres to overage/shortage standards.
- Keeps pastry case stocked and maintains cleanliness of service areas.
