• Inspect carpet for defects.
• Obtain shade patch for supervisor to review.
• Fill out correct information in the computer for each roll and print tickets.
• Hold rolls and report quality problems to the Supervisor.
• Report production through Shopflex.
• Fill out Inspection reports/records.
• Fill out Department “Stop Cards” for all line stops on carpet.
• Monitor width and carpet dampness; communicate up the line if issues occur.
• Determine correct changeover length to be removed and enter it accordingly.
• Physically measure carpet width once per shop order and record results in Shopflex.
• Assist in keeping work areas in a clean and orderly.
