Job summary

Vivie is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents in daily activities, meals, and wellness programs at our community. You will work with the nursing team to ensure a safe, dignified living environment and engage residents in meaningful activities.

The role requires empathy, reliability, and strong teamwork, with CNA credentials preferred. Training and growth opportunities are available in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living).
• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
• Previous caregiver/personal care assistant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting preferences.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational, and wellness activities to improve quality of life.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks to promote a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report health or emotional changes to nursing staff.
