Job summary

Sevita is seeking an Evening Caregiver in Swoyersville to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Pay starts at $16/hour with a potential $2/hour shift differential based on location and availability.

Full-time schedule requires 32+ hours weekly, including evenings and weekends, with a paid orientation week. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, promoting independence, and helping participants participate in community activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services or direct care preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to transport clients in the company van.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Build meaningful relationships and support participation in community activities.
• Demonstrate ownership and trust from leadership to act in participants' best interests.
• Help participants achieve developmental goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other needs.
