Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support our Assisted Living team. This part-time role on the third shift (10:30p-6:30a) offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and a positive work environment with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old; prior geriatric care experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, document care, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
