Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or PCA certification in Massachusetts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to resident care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Knowledge of infection control and Universal Precautions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, elders, family members, visitors, and the public.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, home-like environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Follow Glenmeadow’s procedures, policies, and state regulations.
