Job summary

Glenmeadow is seeking a compassionate HHA for Glenmeadow At Home in Longmeadow, MA. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring health, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment. Certification in MA is required (CNA/PCA/HHA).

Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required. We offer Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem schedules, with various weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA, PCA, or HHA certification in Massachusetts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assisted living or similar setting preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to resident care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Knowledge of infection control and Universal Precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, home-like environment for residents.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Follow Glenmeadow At Home procedures, policies, and state regulations.
