Job summary

Glenmeadow is a compassionate assisted living community in Longmeadow, MA, seeking a dedicated Resident Care Associate (PCA) for Glenmeadow At Home. The primary duties are assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, monitoring health, and reporting changes to nursing staff, while maintaining a clean, safe, home-like environment and building meaningful

Qualifications

• Valid CNA, PCA, or HHA certification in Massachusetts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to resident care.
• Knowledge of infection control and Universal Precaution procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment for residents.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Follow all of Glenmeadow’s procedures, policies, and state regulations.
