Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Campus Security Guard (Part-Time) for the East Valley campus. This evening role works 4 nights per week, totaling 22 hours, non-exempt, with a pay rate of $15.29–$18.35 per hour.

You will patrol grounds, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, keep logs, and serve as a professional point of contact for the campus community. A high school diploma or GED and a background check are required; prior security or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service preferred.
• Background check: Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Physical: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol across campus in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evening campus patrols and monitor access points.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents; coordinate with officials.
• Enforce campus rules and communicate with students, staff, and visitors.
