Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at Winona State University is hiring immediately for a full-time Food Service Worker. You will prepare, present and serve food on a campus line, with a schedule Monday through Thursday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Location: Winona, MN.

Pay ranges from $14.50 to $16.50 per hour and online applications are accepted only. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; safety and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to perform duties safely and follow sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from stations safely.
• Stores food with proper dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety and cash handling procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
