Job summary

Colorado Mesa University is seeking a Custodian Team Member for the evening shift (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM). The role focuses on maintaining clean facilities to support students and staff. The position requires at least six months of custodial experience and involves complying with safety and [ADA] guidelines.

Candidates should have strong customer service skills and be able to follow directions. Employment includes health and retirement benefits and a drug screen/physical may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months custodial experience in a business/corporation setting.
• Excellent customer service and time-management skills are preferred.
• Substitutions: appropriate education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of facilities to support a productive learning and working environment.
• Perform floor-care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and related tasks.
• Input work requests and time logs in the maintenance system (Schooldude).
• Assist with security by locking/unlocking rooms and buildings as required.
