Job summary

Jackson College is seeking a Cleaning Team Member for the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm) to help maintain a clean, safe, and student-ready campus environment. You will disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas, as well as assist with event setup and snow removal when needed.

A team-oriented, dependable individual is preferred, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Training will be provided on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming campus facilities.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Set up/tear down rooms for events and classes; assist with snow/ice removal as needed.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment and cleaning products.
• Respond to service requests and safety concerns in a timely manner.
