Job summary

Kohler Co. in Kohler, WI is seeking a part-time Busser for Immigrant Restaurant. Responsibilities include bussing and resetting tables, assisting servers with food delivery, maintaining stock of glassware, dishes and utensils, and ensuring smooth seating for guests.

This onsite role features weekday and weekend shifts from 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Applicants must be able to walk or stand most of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Buss and reset tables according to established standards.
• Courteously escort guests to tables.
• Maintain positive guest relations and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Assist servers with food delivery.
• Keep chairs and floors clear of debris.
• Assist back of bar as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Busser responsibilities include clearing and resetting tables, serving plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages and maintaining stock of glassware, dishes and utensils.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bussing and resetting tables according to established standards.
• Courteously escorting guests to tables.
• Maintaining positive guest relations.
• Anticipating guests’ needs, responding promptly.
• Assisting servers with food delivery.
• Keeping chairs and floors clear of debris.
• Assisting back of bar as needed.
• Performing any other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.

This is a part-time casual position working weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 4:30 pm and 11:00 pm.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior restaurant experience preferred by not required.

The hourly range for this position is $7.30 - $11.00 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
