Job summary

Utah Transit Authority is seeking a maintenance janitor to keep buses clean inside and assist with moving units to cleaning bays. Responsibilities include dusting ceilings, walls, windows, seats, and floors, plus occasional exterior washing and related shop tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic communication skills.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid Utah driver’s license.
• Be a safe driver with no more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Cannot have more than 1 violation of driving under the influence in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior cleanliness of buses.
• Move buses to cleaning bays.
• Dust and clean ceilings, walls, windows, seats, and floors.
• May wash exterior of buses.
• Perform other shop and yard tasks as required by the supervisor.
