Job summary

Utah Transit Authority in Utah is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to keep buses clean inside and out, move buses to cleaning bays, and perform shop duties. The role demands physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and working outdoors in all weather. The shift runs 6:00pm to 2:30am with weekends off.

Pay ranges from $19.36 to $24.36 per hour, with possible shift differential up to $1.50 per hour. UTA provides a broad benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid Utah driver’s license.
• Must have a safe driving record with no more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• No more than 1 DUI in the last 10 years.
• Six months of janitorial experience preferred.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior cleanliness of buses (ceilings, walls, windows, seats, floors).
• Move buses to cleaning bays and assist with yard tasks.
• May clean graffiti and biohazard as necessary.
• May wash exterior of buses.
• Perform other shop and yard tasks as required by supervisor.
