Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking an Evening Bistro Attendant to join the Courtyard by Marriott Ithaca team. You will provide exceptional service while preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages in the Bistro, following brand standards.

Previous bartending experience is required, and you will collaborate with hotel staff to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter orders into the POS system.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
• Prepare Bistro food items according to brand standards.
• Answer questions and make recommendations regarding menu and beverage selections.
• Process guest checks, credit cards, and payments accurately.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked Bistro and bar area.
• Follow all alcohol service, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the hotel team to ensure an excellent guest experience.
