Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid California driver's license with good driving record.
• DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance, TB clearance, CPR/First Aid, and Food Handler Card (if applicable).
• Current RTSS certification or qualifying behavioral health residential experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and trauma-informed care principles.
• Ability to use an electronic health record (EHR) system and work in a team.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents in a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment.
• Assist with admissions, resident orientation, screenings, and intake procedures.
• Monitor residents' well-being, reporting changes to the clinical team.
• Document resident observations, interventions, and progress in the EHR.
• Support trauma-informed crisis intervention, de-escalation, and adherence to program guidelines.
• Perform basic health screenings, vital signs, first aid, and urinalysis collections as permitted.
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Assist with meal service, including light food preparation and reheating.
• Transport residents to appointments and approved community activities.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team and perform other duties as assigned.
