Job summary

True Behavioral Health Lp in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the swing shift (3:00pm–11:30pm), full-time. You will provide direct patient care in detox and residential treatment programs, contributing to a compassionate, mission-driven team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, RADT or DHCS certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, mental health, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate supervision and support to detox and residential clients.
• Assist with new client assessments and provide orientation to new clients.
• Monitor patient safety and document observations accurately.
• Obtain vital signs, conduct basic health screenings, and collect urinalysis specimens.
• Assist nursing staff with implementing treatment plans.
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and infection control procedures.
• Transport clients to appointments or meetings as needed.
