Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking Behavior Technicians for the 3:00pm-7:00pm shift. No experience? No problem—we will teach you everything you need to know on the job.

If you have worked with children or adults with special needs, you already bring valuable experience to support our clients with autism. You’ll collect data, apply ABA techniques, and provide one-on-one support in client homes while helping kids develop essential life skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience with children or adults with special needs
• Heart for helping kids
• Calm, steady presence
• Eagerness and energy to play
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Tech savviness to learn data collection software and office software

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social and emotional skills
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly
