Job summary

Renaissance Columbus Downtown is seeking a Bartender/Server with afternoon and evening availability to join our on-site Food & Beverage team. This part-time position offers dynamic service in a lively hotel setting.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking drink orders, preparing beverages, maintaining bar setup, handling POS transactions, and ensuring compliance with safety and alcohol service regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily, stocking beer, wine, spirits, and bar supplies.
• Keeps fresh fruit, garnishes, juices, and perishables stocked and stored daily for quality.
• Greets guests, takes drink orders, and prepares beverages using standard recipes and portion control.
• Complies with State, Federal and Corporate alcohol-service requirements.
• Inputs orders in POS and creates checks to balance beverages served.
• Handles cash, verifies charges, and secures cash drops and bank deposits.
• Locks up and stores beverage, food, and equipment items, and secures bank procedures.
• Adheres to attendance rules and is available to work regularly.
