Job summary

Harps in Missouri is seeking a Bakery/Deli Cook to support food service operations, maintain department readiness, and ensure high quality products. You will follow safety guidelines, assist with inventory, labeling, and sanitation while delivering friendly, efficient service.

You will contribute to teamwork, uphold Harps’ standards, and help sustain a clean, safe, and welcoming bakery/deli environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Food Service Department Operations: readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department goals, cleanliness and safe use of equipment.
• Replenishment & Inventory Procedures: ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing, back stock, reclamation and returns, damages and reworks.
• Equipment and Tools: proper equipment procedures, cleaning and maintenance.
• Food Production and Processing: follow safety guidelines, proper packaging, weighing and labeling.
• Department Cleaning Standards: follow cleaning standards and use approved chemicals.
• Problem Solving: define issues clearly and use critical thinking to obtain answers.
• Safety/Quality Orientation: emphasize high quality and safety for self and others.
• Building Relationships: develop and foster relationships with others, treat others fairly and respectfully.
• Conscientiousness: demonstrate responsibility, thoroughness, attendance, and adherence to Harps’ policies.
