Job summary

Compass Group, Chartwells Higher Ed, is hiring for full-time BAKER positions at Baylor University in Waco, TX. Online applications accepted only. Schedule may vary: evenings from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Mon-Thu) and 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Fri).

You will prepare baked goods per recipes, assist with production planning, ensure sanitation, manage waste and portions, and provide friendly customer service in a campus food service setting. Prior baking experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous baking experience.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries according to production sheets.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards.
• Complete production records including waste tracking and shortages.
• Maintain sanitation and proper serving temperatures.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Handle food safely and comply with safety regulations.
• Assist with customer interactions and resolve complaints cheerfully.
• Maintain timely and accurate shift completion.
