Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Med Techs to support residents with daily living activities and medication management on the 3pm–11pm shift. If you value dignity and individual care, we would love to speak with you.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Education

CNA certification

Caregiver training/certification as required by state agency

First aid/CPR certification within 30 days

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
