Job summary

Lifetime Assistance is seeking an Assistant Residence Manager in Henrietta, NY to oversee daily operations of a residential home, ensuring compassionate, person-centered services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time evening shift provides leadership and hands-on support in a collaborative team.

Starting wage is $23.58–$26.75 per hour, plus a $0.75 weekend differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience, or one year of college coursework in human services or a related field.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain; SCIP-R Level I required.
• Valid driver’s license and two years of driving experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills; familiarity with OPWDD regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of a residential home with person-centered services.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills, communication, recreation, and community inclusion.
• Administer and monitor medications; coordinate medical appointments.
• Supervise staff schedules, training, and duties; act as shift leader in Residence Manager’s absence.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized service plans and behavioral support strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with OPWDD and agency requirements.
• Respond to behavioral or medical emergencies using SCIP-R and crisis response strategies.
• Collaborate with families, advocates, clinicians, and staff for holistic support.
