Job summary

Mancino's of Brighton is seeking an Evening Assistant Manager to lead night operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The role supports daily dining room management and staff coordination in a busy sandwich shop and pizzeria.

This position offers part-time hours (20–30 per week), weekend availability, and opportunities for advancement with a pay progression starting at $17 per hour during training and $18 per hour after training, with regular raises.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Available 20–30 hours per week, including weekends.
• Must be friendly and professional towards customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Keep work areas clean and stocked with equipment, tools and supplies.
• Take accurate orders and repeat back to customer at time of order.
• Close down dining room and restrooms.
• Assist with closing duties and restocking.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available.
• Create a safe and pleasant working environment.
• Prepare and maintain food products in accordance with health regulations and company standards.
• Work with employees and keep everyone on track.

Job description

Mancino's Pizza and Grinders is an upscale sandwich shop and pizzeria. We offer both dine in and carry out service for our clientele, but we do not deliver. We have been in business for over 33 years and have an outstanding reputation in our community. Our restaurant has won numerous awards over the years for it's delicious menu items. We offer a safe and pleasant environment for employees to work in. We have a long history of successfully working with our student empolyee's and we understand their schedule needs.

We are not a late night business. We close at 8:00 pm on Sunday, 9:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturdays.

We do not serve alcohol.

Position: Evening Assistant Manager

Pay: $17/Hour for training - $18/Hour for Manager training. Regular pay raise schedule afterwards.

Job Responsibilities

• Our priority is customer service
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly in stock and stored
• Accurate order taking, includes repeating order to customer at time of order
• Closing down the dining room and restrooms
• Assist with closing restaurant duties and re-stocking
• Maintains a solid knowledge of product and services available
• Creates a safe and pleasant working environment
• Prepares and maintains food products in accordance with health regulations and company standards
• Work with employees and keep everyone on track
