Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality seeks an Assistant General Manager for DoubleTree Lansing to lead daily hotel operations, oversee departments, and drive revenue while managing costs. You will supervise guest services, rooms and F&B teams, coach staff, and ensure service excellence for every guest.

Qualifications

• At least five years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or F&B) or a four-year degree with 2–3 years, or a two-year degree with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Supervisory background required.
• Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure.
• Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple departments and partner with the General Manager to keep hotel operations profitable.
• Identify and address challenges to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff and develop team members.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and guests to maintain top service standards.
• Analyze financial information to support hotel performance and cost control.
• Utilize technology and reporting tools to drive actionable insights.
• Uphold professional appearance and grooming standards across staff.
