Job summary

ITW Commercial Construction North America in Itasca, IL is seeking an Assembler to safely set up and operate assembly and packaging equipment, perform quality inspections, and document checks to support on-time production and customer demand.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential, with overtime and occasional Saturday work. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, disability and life insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work 2:15 p.m. - 10:45 p.m. with overtime and occasional Saturday work.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to recognize parts, identify problems, and help determine solutions.
• Ability to complete supplemental training, including technical math, basic computer skills, and measuring skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up and operate assembly and packaging equipment following standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality inspections and verify products meet established standards.
• Track and document quality checks, scrap, and production-related information.
• Monitor and record machine downtime and communicate issues as needed.
• Partner with maintenance and other departments to resolve equipment or production concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support plant and customer needs.
