Job summary

Tolmar is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our GMP environment in Windsor, CO. The role focuses on environmental monitoring, microbial testing, and quality control under ISO/GMP conditions.

You will assist with gowning, equipment setup, data entry, and method validation while maintaining accurate records and following strict production documents. A Bachelor’s in Microbiology or related field and 2+ years of lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology or closely related field required.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience including Microbiology in a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of CGMPs and GDPs preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring in the general and aseptic manufacturing environment.
• Perform routine quality control product testing under GMP and ISO conditions, including sterility testing in an isolator.
• Assist with the setup of the laboratory and daily lab operations (prepare media and solutions).
• Incubate and enumerate organisms on cultured media.
• Maintain notebooks and prepare reports and summaries according to GMP guidelines.
• Write and execute test methods and work instructions; perform method transfers and instrument validations.
