Job summary

Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO, is seeking a Full-Time Paint Prep Technician. The role focuses on sanding and bodywork repair of antennas, following repair orders and SOPs.

The position operates Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, in a production setting with typical shop equipment usage. Responsibilities include completing taping and sanding, performing bodywork, and documenting traceability on manufacturing orders.

Qualifications

• Experience using shop tools in a production environment preferred.
• Experience painting, sanding or bodywork preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Completes taping and sanding of antenna exterior.
• Performs bodywork and repair on antennas.
• Works to approved documentation such as repair order, SOP and WI.
• Use of shop tools and various shop equipment.
• Document traceability of components used in assembly on manufacturing orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
