Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and accession specimens using LIS and EMR.
• Cover slips, label slides accurately for microscopic evaluation.
• Perform data entry, tracking, filing and documentation.
• Assist with packing and shipping within the department.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and prepare reagents.
• Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation; document QC.
• Assist with frozen sections and staining as needed.
• Support quality assurance and safety compliance.
• Retrieves specimens from the OR and communicates with staff.
