Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Burnet, TX is seeking an Analytical Chemist II for the 2nd shift (Sun–Thu, times vary 1pm–10pm). You will lead analytical testing, data review, and method development to support semiconductor materials analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Analytical Chemistry and 2+ years of instrument experience (ICP-MS/OES, GC/GC-MS, HPLC, IC). You will train others and work on cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field is required.
2+ years operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining analytical instruments (LC/LC-MS, IC/IC-MS, GC/GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES).
Advanced computer skills including MS Office; LIMS experience preferred.
Strong safety and cleanroom practices in semiconductor QC environment.

Responsibilities

Lead safety and quality in daily analytical work.
Prepare and conduct analyses on routine and non-routine samples using ICP-MS, ICP-OES, GC, GC-MS, HPLC, IC, XRF, UV-Vis, NIR, KF.
Document and review analytical data for traceability and validity; support production needs.
Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables for testing.
Troubleshoot hardware or software issues on instruments.
Lead/participate in continuous improvement of testing methods.
Train other personnel to analyze samples or perform lab tasks.
