Job summary

Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Scientist II, Production Analytical Chemist on the 2nd shift at our Burnet, TX site to support analytical testing, method development, and data integrity for semiconductor materials.

You will perform analyses using ICP-MS/OES, GC, HPLC, IC and related instruments, maintain equipment, troubleshoot challenges, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining analytical instrumentation (LC, LC-MS, IC, IC-MS, GC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES).
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office; LIMS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe handling/disposal of chemicals and clean workspace.
• Proven record of safe, accurate lab work and independent contribution.
• Commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in maintaining safety and quality culture.
• Prepare and conduct chemical analyses on routine and non-routine samples using ICP-MS, ICP-OES, GC, GC/MS, HPLC, IC, XRF, UV-Vis, NIR, KF, etc.
• Document, process, and review analytical data for traceability and validity.
• Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables for testing.
• Troubleshoot instruments and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Lead improvement initiatives for testing methods and practices.
• Present data and findings for continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as analytical SME.
• Train others to analyze samples or perform lab tasks.
