Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Lincoln is seeking an Aircraft Component Repair Technician 2 for the second shift. The role focuses on component-level electronics troubleshooting, test bench work, and soldering to IPC standards.

Candidates must read schematics and CMMs, interpret blueprints, and work overtime to meet peak demand. Responsibilities include repairing electrical and mechanical assemblies, setting up test equipment, and ensuring FAA RS compliance.

Qualifications

• Interpret blueprints, engrg docs and CMMs; use precision tools.
• Repair mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies per manuals and drawings.
• Set up, maintain and operate test equipment for functional tests.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic and some advanced skills to repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform repairs via removal, replacement or fabrication per maintenance data.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformity and quality; document activities per RS requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with FAA RS regulations.
