Qualifikationen

• 0-2 years of admissions or customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of healthcare setting experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Registers patients accurately, enters data into registration system, and collects signatures on forms.
• Verifies insurance coverage and identifies plan codes for correct billing.
• Explains ABNs and other documents to patients and families when required.
• Counsels self-pay patients on costs and payment options, documenting interactions.
• Secures and logs patient valuables and tracks them appropriately.
• Places patient armbands for proper identification throughout stay.
• Reads physician orders to guide registration and order entry for departments.
• Notifies departments of arrivals and follows up on delays for timely service.
• Assists with inpatient bed assignments coordinating with nursing staff.
• Manages multi-line calls and relays messages accurately.
• Supports emergency codes and facility-wide safety plans as needed.
• Performs other duties and maintains regular attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
