Job summary

The role involves collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare professionals, with duties including IV compounding, non-sterile prep, and medication distribution. Evening shift 1:00pm–9:30pm, weekend rotation, and incentives apply.

Qualifications

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
• Arizona-specific license requirements may apply for Banner facilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify medications and reorder supplies to maintain inventory.
• Manage users in automated dispensing technology and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service in interactions with patients, staff and physicians.
• Restock medications to nursing and ancillary areas under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in sterile and non-sterile compounding following USP guidelines.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document temperatures and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with IV compounding and hazardous drug handling per policy.
• Handle narcotics following federal and state regulations and maintain documentation.
