Goldwater Care Pontiac is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Activity Aide (4:00pm–8:00pm) to support residents’ wellbeing through engaging recreational, social, and spiritual programs. You will document progress, assist with program logistics, and help create a positive, home-like atmosphere in the facility.

Applicants should be at least 18, able to pass a background check, and possess strong English communication skills; prior LTC activities experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience in Long Term Care Activities is preferred.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Observe and document resident attendance, mood, behavior, participation, and involvement; report progress.
• Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and programs.
• Prepare activity rooms and materials; maintain clean, organized spaces.
• Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere and collaborate with other departments.
• Provide one-on-one activities and companionship as needed.
• Follow each resident’s care plan and confidentiality policies.
