Neffsville Nursing & Rehabilitation in Lancaster, PA seeks an Activities Assistant to oversee resident activities under the Activities Director. The role supports emotional, recreational, and social well-being and involves daily interaction with residents.

Starting at $12.00 per hour, with full-time 12 pm-8:30 pm shifts and part-time options. Benefits include a comprehensive package and education assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with elderly or disabled desirable.
• Must be over 18 to apply.

Responsibilities

• Meet residents' emotional, recreational, and social needs on an individual basis.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (e.g., writing letters, making calls, voting registration).
• Assist with record keeping of residents' progress and activity attendance.
• Escort residents to activities, assist with mail delivery and announcements.
• Implement activities program as directed by the Activities Director.
• Provide craft supplies and supervise craft activities.
• Encourage residents to engage in crafts and creative activities.

Education
