Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center in Erie, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant for a part-time role (up to 30 hours per week). The position focuses on planning engaging programs to enhance social interaction, independence, and enjoyment for senior residents.

Responsibilities include leading activities, encouraging participation, and assisting with event setup. Evening and weekend availability is required, with a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• Experience in activities within a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, lead, and conduct recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in daily programs.
• Lead group activities, games, crafts, exercise programs, and events.
• Assist residents to and from activities as needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Decorate for holidays and special events; maintain supplies.
• Document attendance and participation as required.
• Support the Activities Director with department goals and programming.
