Hunter College, City University of New York, invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Economics and Accounting, starting Spring 2027. Courses are held in person on weekday evenings after 5:30 p.m.

Successful candidates must teach in-person in NYC, with preference for candidates based in the NYC metropolitan area. We seek instructors for two graduate courses in the MS in Accounting program: ACC 77500 Advanced Auditing and ACC 77600 Governmental Accounting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Accounting or related field.
• Proven (significant) success as a teacher.
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach two graduate courses: ACC 77500 Advanced Auditing and ACC 77600 Governmental Accounting.
