Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an Academic Tutor for the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes. The role focuses on tutoring student-athletes in various subjects, both one-on-one and in groups, to support academic success and MAP goals.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, collaborating with ASPSA staff, and providing feedback to help students balance coursework with athletic commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience tutoring or academic support in a university setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring to student-athletes in assigned subject areas, in one-on-one or group settings.
• Support the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes in maintaining student success metrics and MAP goals.
• Collaborate with ASPSA staff to monitor progress and deliver timely feedback to students and coaches.
