Job summary

Pathway School is seeking a Teacher's Aide to facilitate study hall sessions and provide homework assistance during evening hours. The aide will implement homework plans to reinforce mastery and remediation under the supervision of certified teachers.

Responsibilities include supervising students, following reporting procedures, reviewing IEPs, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting educational interventions while ensuring a safe school environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Work Keys testing or at least 2 years undergraduate degree.
• No prior classroom teaching experience required; must be ethical, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient English; able to relate to staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and management of client behavior during study hall sessions and interventions.
• Follow proper reporting procedures for accidents or incidents.
• Review assessments and individualized education plans to support each client.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health and special education information.
• Contribute to the care planning process and report client progress for academic credit.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean school environment.
• Participate in staff training and other duties as assigned by supervisors.
