Job summary

Pace Center for Girls in Florida is seeking a part-time Education Support Assistant to aid Teacher Advisors with academic activities and provide remedial tutoring to students based on individual needs. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum experience using personal computers and database software.

Responsibilities

• Assists students individually or in groups with lesson assignments to reinforce learning concepts.
• Administers and grades examinations; files student papers and other paperwork.
• Follows lesson plan and supervises class when Teacher Advisor is absent.
• Assists in the administration of state required testing and complies with state regulations.
• Participates in parent conferences as needed.
• Interacts with volunteers to support program activities.
• Enters data into ETO and school board information systems as assigned.
• Assists teachers on regularly scheduled field trips.
• Participates in after-hours center activities to support girls, families and program growth.
